We developed the trainings for the Natural Capital of Municipalities in cooperation with the OSCE Presence in 21 municipalities of the country to introduce and deal with the concept of the Natural Capital of the Municipality in detail. The development of natural capital in the territory of the municipality should be a priority for sustainable and comprehensive local economic development. Natural Capital has become part of the Strategy for Decentralization and Local Autonomy 2023-2030 and in this context, the Minister intends to extend the assessment process to all municipalities of the country. For this purpose, during 2023, OSCE, in close cooperation with AMVV, held 4 regional meetings on the independent development of the assessment of the municipality’s natural capital. During the reporting period, 3 regional meetings were held to train the 24 municipalities that did not receive training during 2023.
21 municipalities out of 24 invited municipalities participated in the 3 meetings (87.5%), where the total number of participants was 48 participants.
In total, 58 municipalities out of 61 (95%) were trained, where 21 municipalities were trained during 2024 and 37 municipalities in 2023.
