The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, participated in the latest meeting of the Steering Council of the Training Academy for Local Government (TALGA), where a series of key issues related to the academy’s organization and institutional consolidation were reviewed and approved. During the meeting, the organizational structure, salary framework, recruitment regulations, and the next steps for launching recruitment procedures were approved, marking another concrete step toward the full operationalization of TALGA. The establishment and consolidation of the academy represent an important milestone in building a sustainable system for the professional development and capacity strengthening of local government administration across all 61 municipalities of Albania, contributing to more effective local governance and higher-quality public services for citizens .
