In the framework of the Europe Days, the Minister for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo welcomed the President of EASR, Mr. Ignazio Portelli, together with the Chairman of the Tirana District Council, Mr. Aldrin Dalipi, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Xhemal Qefalia and the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Ms. Klodiana Spahiu at the meeting of the European network of regional and local representatives, as well as representatives of local, regional and European institutions.

An important space was dedicated to the dialogue on strengthening inter-institutional cooperation, the exchange of best European experiences and the role of Local Government in the sustainable development of territories.

It was emphasized that municipalities are the level closest to citizens and key partners on Albania’s path towards European standards.
