The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, participated in the High-Level Dialogue “A New Agenda for the Administration of the Future,” held as part of the opening of the Third Edition of Public Administration Week. During the discussion panel, together with the Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption, Ms. Adea Pirdeni, participants addressed the role of public administration in building modern, professional institutions that are closer to citizens, as a key element of Albania’s European integration process. In his remarks, Minister Demo emphasized that progress toward European Union membership requires a local administration capable of meeting new standards and challenges through investment in human capital, enhanced professionalism, and the involvement of the younger generation in public institutions. He also underlined that local government offers tangible opportunities to build careers with a direct impact on community development and the improvement of public services, thereby contributing to the development of the administration of the future and Albania’s European future.
