The Minister of State for Local Government, Ervin Demo, participated in the first Steering Committee meeting of the EU4Municipalities II programme, a strategic initiative valued at €11 million aimed at strengthening local governance and supporting Albania’s European integration process into the Bashkimi Evropian. During the meeting, participants discussed the initial steps for the programme’s implementation, as well as key priorities for supporting municipalities through concrete investments, enhanced institutional capacities, and the modernization of public services for citizens.
EU4Municipalities II represents an important opportunity for local development, contributing to improved quality of life in communities and strengthening municipalities’ capacities to effectively absorb European Union funds in the future .
