At the meeting of the Steering Committee of the “Strong Municipalities” – Phase 2 project, together with Ms. Sabine Piccard from the Embassy of Switzerland, Mr. Erik Illes from the Embassy of Sweden, representatives of central institutions, mayors, municipal council members, and international partners. An important meeting to review the results achieved during 2025 and to discuss the directions of support in the upcoming consolidation period, with a focus on strengthening local governance, improving public services, transparency, performance measurement of municipalities, and empowering TALGA as a national mechanism for building local capacities. Gratitude to the Government of Switzerland, the Government of Sweden, HELVETAS, and all partners who have contributed to this shared journey towards stronger, more efficient municipalities that are closer to citizens .
