Field meetings on the Performance-Based Grant (PBG) 2026 and the monitoring of Integrity Plans continued across a number of municipalities in the country, with the participation of staff from the Agency for the Support of Local Self-Government.
During visits to the municipalities of Fushë Arrëz, Pukë, Poliçan, Berat, Patos, Peqin, Roskovec, Lushnjë, Divjakë, Elbasan, Gramsh, Libohovë, Përmet, Dropull, Shijak, Vorë, Tropojë, Kukës, Has, Dibër, Klos, Sarandë, Finiq, Konispol, Vlorë, Himarë, Pogradec, Prrenjas, Maliq, Kolonjë, Librazhd, Kurbin, Tiranë, Kavajë and Malësi e Madhe, meetings were held with the structures responsible for institutional reporting, including integrity, performance, finance, and others.
The discussions focused on the monitoring of Integrity Plan measures for 2025, documentation and standardization of reporting, as well as the presentation of the key components of the Performance-Based Grant mechanism for 2026. AMVV representatives emphasized the importance of concrete, measurable, and verifiable results, as well as the necessity for reported measures to be supported by documentary evidence and clear verification materials.
These meetings highlighted the commitment of municipalities to strengthening institutional integrity, increasing transparency, and improving performance at the local level.
