The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, held a meeting with the French Ambassador, H.E. Catherine Suard, and representatives of the company Spallian, within the framework of the innovative Dat’Alb project, which is expected to be implemented soon in several municipalities across the country. During the meeting, discussions focused on the progress achieved so far, opportunities for data exchange between institutions, as well as the inclusion of municipalities in the pilot phase of the Dat’Alb platform. The meeting also emphasized the creation of new partnerships between Albanian and French municipalities, with the aim of exchanging experiences and best practices in the field of local governance. The Dat’Alb project aims to strengthen the capacities of local administrations in collecting, analyzing, and effectively using data in planning and decision-making processes, thereby contributing to the modernization of institutions, enhancing transparency, and improving the quality of public services for citizens.
This cooperation between the Ministry of State for Local Government, the French Embassy, and the company Spallian represents an important step toward strengthening local governance and promoting the use of innovation in support of sustainable local development.
