The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, held a meeting with the Head of the OSCE Presence in Albania, Ambassador, Mr. Michel Tarran.

During this meeting, the continued cooperation with the OSCE in support of strengthening local governance, advancing democratic reforms and improving services for citizens at the local level was discussed. The importance of joint coordination and concrete projects that contribute to increasing the transparency, accountability and efficiency of local institutions was emphasized.

The partnership with the OSCE remains a key element for the consolidation of democratic institutions and the strengthening of local government, in accordance with European standards and the process of Albania’s integration into the European Union.
