With the participation of the Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Arbjan Mazniku, Albania was presented as a regional leader in the field of government technology (GovTech), achieving a high level of digitalization with 95% of public services provided online. This achievement was part of the discussions at the World Bank High Level Forum, where Albania emphasized its commitment to modernizing public administration through technology.

During the forum, the “GovTech 2.0” initiative was presented, a major investment for the digitalization of 61 municipalities in the country. This initiative also includes the use of Artificial Intelligence in public procurement processes, putting technology to work to improve services, local development and strengthen capacities.
