The reform in the field of waste treatment remains one of the key challenges in the framework of approximation with the standards of the European Union. In this regard, the Minister of State for the Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Arbjan Mazniku, participated in the discussion on the plan of legal measures and the investments foreseen to guarantee a more efficient, sustainable and environmentally friendly management.

These measures aim to significantly improve the waste management system, increase the level of recycling and reduce pollution, as part of the commitments that Albania has made within the framework of the European Integration process.
