Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, together with the Minister of Environment, representatives of the Swedish Embassy, AKEM, and local stakeholders, attended the introductory meeting presenting the achievements of the recycling project in Berat. The discussions focused on the challenges, successes, and objectives for the future of the initiative. The goal is clear: not only to have a functional recycling scheme in Berat but to develop a model that can be expanded to all municipalities in the country. A special inspiration came from businesses and civil society organizations, recognized as concrete examples of integrating recycling into their daily activities.
