On June 2, the meeting of the Consultative Council was held, with the participation of the co-chairs of the Consultative Council, Mr. Arbjan Mazniku and Mr. Aldrin Dalipi, and the special participation of Ms. Mirela Kumbaro, Minister of Tourism and Environment, as well as representatives of the central government and local government.

Among the topics discussed were the consultation of the Task Force on measures for the smooth running of the 2025 tourist season, where the priorities for the smooth running of the 2025 summer tourist season were discussed, focusing on the efficient organization of work between institutions to guarantee a clean coast, good management of beaches, as well as high-standard safety throughout the territory. One of the main points was the doubling of the surface area of ​​public beaches, which increases the responsibility of municipalities for the management of the territory. For this reason, the Ministry of Tourism and Environment will support coastal municipalities with additional cleaning operators within the framework of the “Clean Beaches” initiative. Continuous inter-institutional cooperation and communication will be the common key to ensuring a tourist season with dignified standards for citizens and visitors.

Further, Mr. Stiljan Llavdaniti, Acting Director General, AMVV presented two draft decisions related to the establishment of the National Committee for European Territorial Cooperation and the methodology for creating a partnership for the management of EU cohesion funds in Albania.

The discussion was continued by Mr. Shkëlqim Hajdari, Inspector General, presenting the draft decisions that fully regulate the organization and functioning of the inspection system in the country, including the methodology of penalties, the programming of inspections and the selection of the General Inspector.

While Ms. Elvana Ramaj, Director, Directorate of Circular Economy, presented the draft decision on some additions and amendments to Decision no. 575, dated 24.6.2015 of the Council of Ministers, on the approval of the requirements for the management of inert waste.

Further, Mr. Ylli Hoxha presented the draft decision on the approval of tariffs for the use of pastures and meadows for various purposes such as grazing, mowing, tourism, sports, health and renewable energy. At the end, comments and discussions were given by the other parties.
