The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, participated in the meeting of the Interinstitutional Group for Chapter 22, where the full commitment of Albanian institutions to the European Union integration process was emphasized. In his address, Minister Demo highlighted the importance of close cooperation between central and local governance, as well as the preparation for the implementation of cohesion policies – a key element for the sustainable development of the country and the strengthening of local governance. He underlined that citizens remain at the center of every reform and decision-making process, while through joint efforts, responsibility, and institutional dedication, Albania will succeed in becoming part of the European family, as it rightfully deserves.
