The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, together with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ms. Albana Koçiu, and the Minister of Defense, Mr. Pirro Vengu, and the Prefects, participated in the meeting to coordinate the inventory of damages caused by the intense rainfall of recent days, in order to guarantee immediate support for every citizen affected.

It was emphasized that, in this period of difficulties caused by weather conditions, local government has a key role in managing emergency situations. In this context, municipalities are being given more financial flexibility and their operational capacities are being strengthened, so that the response in the territory is faster, more professional and without bureaucratic barriers.
