Mr. Ervin Demo, Minister of State for Local Government, participated in the closing event of the EU4Schools program, one of the most significant reconstruction initiatives launched in the aftermath of the 2019 earthquake. Funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP, the program enabled the reconstruction and rehabilitation of 63 schools and kindergartens in the affected municipalities, strengthening educational infrastructure and creating safer learning environments for children. The event highlighted the importance of investing in education, as well as the crucial role of municipalities in managing and maintaining these public assets to ensure they continue serving local communities for years to come .
