The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, emphasizes that, in a marathon session, the Parliament fully approved the Budget for 2026, the largest in the history of Albania, along with the fiscal package. This budget marks an important step in guaranteeing macroeconomic stability and strengthening the country’s development capacities.
According to Mr. Demo, the strategic decision aims to promote economic development, strengthen public investments and improve the quality of services for citizens. Through this budget, priority is placed on strengthening Local Government and improving infrastructure and services that directly affect the daily lives of citizens.
