A coordination meeting was held at the Municipality of Elbasan with representatives from IDRA Research & Consulting, in cooperation with AKSHI and AMVV, within the framework of the project “Diagnosis for Supporting Local Government Capacity in Digital Transformation”, funded by the World Bank. The Municipality of Elbasan has been selected as one of the four pilot municipalities in Albania, together with Tirana, Lezhë, and Roskovec, for the implementation of this assessment at the national level. The project aims to analyze and strengthen human resource capacities at the local level in order to support the development of digital services, data management, and the modernization of local administration. During the meeting, the working methodology was presented and the next steps were discussed regarding data collection and the implementation of the institutional analysis, with the aim of identifying capacity development needs and improving the structures that support digital transformation at the local level. This process represents an important step towards the modernization of public services and increasing the efficiency of local administration, in order to provide higher quality and more accessible services for citizens.
