The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, participated in a meeting with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Acting Administrator of UNDP, Mr. @HaoliangXu, where discussions focused on the key role of local governance in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals and supporting Albania’s European integration process. Mr. Demo commended UNDP’s continued support for local governance reforms, particularly in strengthening the capacities of local self-government units, decentralizing public services, and improving mechanisms for disaster risk reduction.
