The Local Government Academy has officially launched its activity with the first constitutive meeting of the steering board with the participation of the Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, where co-chairs Ms. Emirjana Sako and Mr. Aldrin Dalipi were elected.
Over the next 4 years, the Academy will train over 35 thousand municipal employees, aiming to:

• • Increasing the quality of services to citizens,
  • Preparing for European standards,
  • Developing government capacities local to benefit from funds from European partners.

This is an important step towards a more efficient, professional and transparent local administration.
