The Academy of Local Government is the structure that will help strengthen the capacities of the local government, improve public services and increase the preparation for the country’s European integration.
At the meeting of the Inter-institutional Working Group, the foundations for the creation of this structure and its ambitious objectives were established. The academy aims to train about 26,097 local government employees in the first three years and 37,382 in 4 years.
EU integration means the implementation of 70% of the legislation at the local level, it means more programs that can benefit from funds and it means a higher level of service for citizens.
The local government academy will help raise the level of local government and a better economy of the territory.
