The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, participated in the meeting with the Inter-institutional Working Group, within the framework of the GovTech Program.

The digitalization of local government is not only a matter of technology, but above all of human capacities and inter-institutional cooperation. At this meeting, the Workforce Plan for Local Government was agreed upon, a key document that will guide the strengthening of the capacities of 61 municipalities in the digital transformation process.

This is an important step towards building more professional local administrations, with structures adapted to new challenges and with more efficient, more accessible and higher quality public services for citizens.
