The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, welcomed today the Delegation of the Venice Commission.

This meeting discussed the importance of strengthening democratic standards, transparency and institutional accountability, as essential principles for better governance at every level, including local government.

Cooperation with international partners remained important to strengthen reforms that serve citizens and stronger institutions.
