Within the framework of presenting the progress of negotiations with the European Union, the Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, highlighted the achievements made so far, as well as the important steps that remain ahead in fulfilling key reforms. During the meeting, the importance of Chapter 22 was emphasized as one of the main pillars for regional development, strengthening local governance, and increasing capacities for the effective management of European Union funds. In this regard, Albanian institutions continue to remain committed in a coordinated manner to meet the required standards, ensuring a sustainable and credible integration process. With clear institutional commitment and through inter-institutional cooperation, Albania continues its path towards achieving its strategic objective: membership in the European Union by 2030.
