The Minister of Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, together with the Executive Director of Faktoje.al, Ms. Klodiana Kapo, Director of Governance and Health at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Ms. Sabine Piccard, and the Mayor of Lezhë, Mr. Pjerin Ndreu, held the activity within the framework of the presentation of the monitoring report “40 Promises, 10 Municipalities”,

During the activity, the findings for 2025 were presented, focused on the level of transparency, the fulfillment of electoral promises and the implementation of the Social Fund at the local level. The discussions highlighted the importance of building a sustainable relationship between the municipality and citizens, based on trust and accountability.

It was underlined that this trust is strengthened when public commitments are clear, realistic and in line with the competencies of the local government, as well as when they are supported by well-structured plans and secure financial resources. The activity served as an important step towards increasing transparency and improving local governance.
