The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, took part in the event “Social Fund 2026 – A Guarantee for the Sustainability of Services for Citizens’ Wellbeing,” together with Prime Minister Mr. Edi Rama, the Minister of Health and Social Welfare Ms. Evis Sala, international partners, and mayors.
During the event, 14 new social services were presented, to be financed throughout 2026, strengthening the role of local government as a guarantor of social care. Social Fund 2026 translates into more high-quality services, closer to citizens, and the consolidation of decentralization in line with European standards, where wellbeing is built every day at the local level.
