The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Switzerland, Mrs. Ruth Huber, and Mrs. Sabine Piccard, representative of the Helvetas program. During the meeting, the successful cooperation with Swiss partners in supporting the decentralization reform and strengthening local government capacities was appreciated. The parties shared their commitment to continue working toward improving public services, increasing the financial autonomy of municipalities, and enhancing transparency in local governance. This meeting reinforces the sustainable partnership between Albania and Switzerland in developing effective and inclusive policies for local governance.
