The meeting included the presentation of the relevant documentation by AMVV and the assessment of key indicators. The session was characterized by a structured process aimed at ensuring an objective and fair evaluation of the applications within the framework of GBP 2025.
The meetings were conducted in several sessions and were moderated by members of the Application Evaluation Commission (AEC), as well as representatives of the Technical Secretariat of AMVV.
The first session focused on the Local Waste Management Plans, where an explanatory report with evaluations from the Ministry of Environment—the institution responsible for waste management—was presented for municipalities that had submitted complete documentation. The Commission produced a preliminary assessment based on the Ministry’s report.
Subsequently, the session on the Local Gender Equality Plan was held. During this session, the report on the preliminary verification of the applications submitted by the municipalities was presented. In total, 37 municipalities applied for the Local Gender Equality Plan. The third session was dedicated to the Local Pre-University Education Plan, focusing on the analysis of the preliminary verifications of the applications. In this context, 44 municipalities applied for the Local Pre-University Education Plan. The concluding session was dedicated to the Local Integrity Plan, where preliminary verifications of the applications were presented, and the importance of transparency and institutional integrity at the local level was discussed. The Commission proposed the organization of another meeting for the approval of the final results. A total of 33 municipalities applied for the Local Integrity Plan. The Technical Secretariat of AMVV will publish the final decisions on the official website, announcing the winning municipalities.
