 Tirana, October 13, 2025 — The second meeting of the Application Evaluation Committee (KVA) for the Municipal Performance-Based Grant (GBP) was held at the premises of the Agency for Local Self-Government Support (AMVV), with a focus on Local Forestry Plans and Waste Management Plans.

During the meeting, the report on the preliminary verification of applications submitted by municipalities was presented. According to initial assessments:

• • • 31 municipalities have applied for Waste Management Plans;
    • 28 municipalities have applied for Forestry Plans.

The members of the Committee discussed the methodology for evaluating indicators in accordance with the relevant instruction, aiming for a transparent and unified process for all participating municipalities.

At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the KVA presented the conclusions and proposed the holding of a second meeting dedicated to the review of the Waste Management Plans, with the aim of assessing the quality criteria by the members of the committee and announcing the preliminary results.

The Technical Secretariat will publish on the official website of the AMVV the final decisions of the Application Evaluation Committee, announcing the winning municipalities according to the indicators.
