The Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Arbjan Mazniku, together with the Parliamentary Committee on European Affairs, reviewed Albania’s negotiating position in the European Union on Group-Chapter V.

This process represents an important step towards European Integration, having as its main objective the protection of the interests of Albanian citizens and the fulfillment of the standards required by the EU.

In this context, emphasis was placed on strengthening the development of Albanian agriculture, the sustainable use of natural resources and the implementation of cohesion policies, which are expected to bring balanced development throughout the country.

These measures will help not only to increase the well-being of citizens, but also to accelerate the process of Albania’s membership in the European Union.
