In the framework of the efforts to build a sustainable and competitive agricultural sector, the activity “Dialogue on Agriculture and Rural Development” was held, with the participation of the Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Arbjan Mazniku, farmers and model entrepreneurs from rural areas of Albania.

This dialogue aimed to create an open communication space to directly listen to the challenges, needs and ideas of field actors, as well as to strengthen cooperation between them and the responsible institutions. The focus of the discussions was on inclusive rural development, increasing production capacities and improving support mechanisms for agriculture.

The activity was held in function of the realization of the vision “Albania 2030”, and in line with the strategic objectives of the country’s integration process into the European Union. The dialogue emphasized the importance of institutional cooperation and the active participation of the rural community in the design and implementation of development policies.
